About the Role
The Barbican is a multidisciplinary international arts centre in the City of London, showcasing world-class artists and performances across theatres, concert halls, cinemas, galleries, and public spaces. It presents hundreds of events annually that entertain, inspire, create connections, provoke debate, and reflect contemporary life. Rooted in its local community, the Barbican supports young people and emerging talent to develop artistic practice and access creative industry jobs.

The Creative Collaboration department drives the Barbican’s engagement with communities through a multi-artform approach, championing interdisciplinary work that connects new audiences and reflects London’s rich diversity. The department supports the Barbican’s civic purpose by co-creating joyful experiences that inspire, connect, and provoke debate.

We are seeking a Senior Producer, Learning and Participation to join the Creative Collaboration team. This role is instrumental in developing and delivering dynamic programmes that engage young people and communities underrepresented in arts and culture as participants, audiences, makers, workforce, and artists.

Focusing primarily on the City of London and surrounding boroughs including Camden, Islington, Tower Hamlets, and Hackney, the Senior Producer will manage the learning and community team and collaborate across Barbican artform departments to deliver participatory events and programmes.

If you can spark creative possibilities and transformations for young people, communities, audiences, and emerging artists, we want to hear from you.
