About the Role
Are you passionate about helping adults achieve their potential? Learn Hillingdon Adult Community Education is looking for enthusiastic and caring Casual Learning Support Assistants to support learners across a range of adult education programmes. You will play a vital role in helping learners access learning, build confidence and achieve their goals in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
You will provide one-to-one and group support to learners in classes and community settings, help create an inclusive learning environment where all learners can thrive, and support learners with their personal, social and educational development. You will work closely with tutors to identify and meet individual learner needs, assist with learner reviews, assessments and record keeping, support educational visits, enrichment activities and occasional exam invigilation, and promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times.
This role requires patience, approachability and a commitment to helping adults overcome barriers to learning. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives while working across a diverse range of adult learning programmes within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Experience
Experience working in education, health, social care or a similar support role.
About you
Patient, approachable and committed to helping adults overcome barriers to learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good IT and administrative skills. Understanding of supporting learners with a range of needs, including learners with disabilities and learning difficulties. Commitment to safeguarding and delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated, but a commitment to ongoing training and development is expected.
