Flexible 35 contracted hours per week, varying according to demand. This will include some weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.

£30,585 - £31,557 per annum (Grade ME9)
About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic RYA Senior Instructors to join the senior team at Wimbledon Park Watersports Centre. This role requires adaptability and a passion for delivering high quality watersports sessions. You will be responsible for delivering a variety of activities including taster paddlesport sessions, 5-day children's holiday courses, and 2-day RYA sailing and powerboat courses. In addition, you will support the senior team in managing and running the centre on a day-to-day basis, assist with maintaining facilities and equipment, support the development of staff and volunteers, and act as the instructor in charge and keyholder when deputised by management.
Experience
- RYA Senior Instructor (dinghy)
- Paddlesports experience either as a qualified instructor, experienced personal paddler, or willingness to learn
- Experience coaching adults and children, including those with additional needs

Adaptable, enthusiastic and motivated with excellent communication skills. Able to work flexibly to meet the demands of the centre and support a team environment.
Qualifications
Essential:
- RYA Senior Instructor (dinghy)
Desirable:
- BCAB Paddlesports Instructor (or British Canoeing Instructor) or higher paddlesport qualification (e.g. BCAB Performance Coach)
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
- At least one year's experience working in a Recognised Training Centre (RTC) as an active Senior Instructor
- RYA Windsurf Instructor
- Racing/Advanced Instructor endorsements
- Good technical knowledge of the RYA
