About the Role
As a Linen Porter, you will be a vital member of the team, working in a fast-paced hotel environment to manage linen stock efficiently. Your responsibilities include coordinating linen deliveries, fulfilling orders, and distributing linens throughout the hotel. You will ensure proper storage and maintenance of linen inventory and related equipment while adhering to health and safety policies. Providing respectful and prompt assistance to guests and collaborating with coworkers to maintain cleanliness standards and a positive working environment are key aspects of this role. You will follow instructions from supervisors and managers regarding cleaning schedules and specific tasks, contributing to an excellent guest experience.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with linen management tasks such as sorting, folding, and distribution is advantageous.

Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management skills with attention to detail. Flexible, willing to learn, and adaptable to organisational needs. Possess a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude and the ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively. Committed to providing excellent customer service with self-motivation and accountability. Able to work confidentially and with integrity, follow instructions, and perform well under pressure. Awareness of safety regulations and compliance is essential.
