About the Role
Join our Maintenance Voids Team at L&Q. An opportunity has arisen within the voids team, ideal for a candidate with a sound knowledge of void management. This role impacts both residents and internal teams, directly influencing satisfaction and achieving strategic goals within the service. As the Maintenance Team Manager, you will lead a team of frontline staff working on reactive works to deliver a first-class repair service for our empty homes. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent service and sound financial decision-making.
Experience
Experience of leading, supervising and motivating a team of void supervisors; experience of contract management; knowledge of SORs and building knowledge; track record of delivering excellent customer service and resident satisfaction against KPIs; knowledge of relevant standards and legislation; experience of implementing and maintaining good Health and Safety, including working at heights, manual handling, asbestos and day-to-day Health and Safety Compliance; demonstrable financial acumen & commercial awareness; ability to build positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders; resilience and the ability to work in a pressured environment.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in management or a related field are desirable but not essential.
