About the Role
As Manager, Security Automation at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), you will be a core member of the Cyber Security Operations team, leading and setting the direction for the Cyber Security Automation team. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering security automation capabilities such as alert ingestion, enrichment, and automated response workflows to drive efficient and consistent handling of security alerts. You will own and evolve the security case management platform, supporting Security Operations and Security Fusion Centre teams while driving process improvements and workflow optimisation. You will manage infrastructure and engineering practices underpinning automation, forensics, and threat intelligence platforms, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable operations through Infrastructure-as-Code and DevSecOps principles. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of emerging AI capabilities, including machine learning, generative AI, agentic workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to enhance analysis, automate decision-making, and accelerate security response.

In this role, you will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, contributing directly to engineering challenges while setting direction and driving innovation aligned with business objectives. As an inclusive and supportive leader, you will foster a collaborative team culture, mentor and develop colleagues at all career stages, and empower individuals to achieve their full potential while delivering transformational outcomes.
