Marketing and Sponsorship Lead


Location
South East London, primarily based at Laurence House with a hybrid working approach requiring regular office and home working.
Hours
Full Time - standard hours with occasional out of hours working as required.
Salary
£55,353.00 - £57,495.00 per annum (P05). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade unless matching current salary with evidential proof.
About the Role

This brand new role within the Communications and Engagement team offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to develop and lead a marketing, sponsorship, and income generation strategy for Lewisham Council. You will focus on maximising income from advertising, sponsorship, and other commercial activities leveraging the Council’s assets, including events. With flexibility to shape the role, you will help the Council become more commercially focused, optimising both physical and digital assets, and building strong partnerships that benefit the Council and its residents. Experience
Proven track record in generating income and raising sponsorship within complex organisations. Strong sales skills with the ability to meet challenging targets.
