About the Role
Join a high performing marketing team at the heart of the BBC, delivering campaigns that connect audiences with some of the UK’s best-loved shows. This role offers the opportunity to deliver world class marketing campaigns, shape creative output and work closely with editorial, product, creative and media teams. As Marketing Executive, Scripted Content Marketing, you will deliver high-impact, audience-focused campaigns across some of the BBC's biggest content brands. Working collaboratively alongside editorial, creative, media, social and product teams, you will be responsible for end-to-end campaign delivery, ensuring highly impactful campaigns are delivered in an integrated, timely, and effective manner.
Your Key Responsibilities and Impact
- Develop briefs for campaigns that deliver against strategic goals (recall, consumption, perception, talkability) across multiple media and platforms
- Review and assess creative responses to briefs, providing feedback to develop creative further
- Review media plans for campaigns and assess suitability against campaign briefs
- Ensure timely delivery of all creative assets
- Ensure compliance of all marketing and communications activity with BBC Editorial Guidelines
- Contribute to regular campaign evaluations, share results with wider teams and stakeholders, and apply learnings to future campaigns
Experience
- Proven experience delivering integrated multi-media marketing campaigns, managing all stages from initial brief through implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with ability to lead collaboration across organisational boundaries and build effective relationships with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead campaigns and teams in a complex matrix environment, effectively managing competing priorities, resources, deadlines, and performance targets
About You
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences
- Analytical and strategic thinker, able to critically evaluate ideas, interpret information, make informed decisions, and drive improvements to working practices
- Passion for TV and the TV industry is desirable
