About the Role
BBC Studios is a globally renowned media company creating and distributing the world’s most sought-after TV, audio and digital content. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Media Operations Coordinator to support our day-to-day content operations activity within the Global Content Operations team. You will coordinate asset deliveries, manage workflow processes, oversee platform onboarding activities and support content distribution across a range of global services and clients. Acting as a key point of contact for operational projects, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional service standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the media supply chain, supporting the delivery and distribution of content across FAST channels, VOD services, streaming platforms and broadcast partners. You will collaborate with colleagues across Global Sales, Media Technology, Operations and external vendors, helping ensure content reaches audiences efficiently and accurately. This position provides exposure to a broad range of media operations activities including asset delivery, workflow management, metadata, localisation and platform onboarding. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on existing media operations experience within a fast-paced, international environment.
Experience
- Experience working within a media supply chain, media operations or content delivery environment
- Understanding of post-production workflows and content delivery processes
- Experience working with digital media formats and content assets
- Knowledge of content distribution platforms and services including FAST, VOD, OTT and linear streaming environments
- Familiarity with media file formats, compression and delivery specifications
- Experience using Media Asset Management (MAM) systems

Qualifications
Desired but not required:
- Experience working within cloud-based media environments
- Understanding of technical and descriptive metadata
- Experience supporting international content distribution operations
- Knowledge of content localisation workflows and vendor management
