About the Role
Do you have a passion for working in Housing? Are you highly organised with great attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Service Delivery Team within Estate Services as a Mobile Team Supervisor. This role involves the supervision and line management of the mobile/relief caretaking team, ensuring that services are delivered to estates in accordance with caretaking and quality assurance manuals.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing resource allocation for the mobile/relief caretaking team and Estate Operatives
- Supervising and line managing the team, including work allocation, staff rotas, monitoring performance, and taking corrective action when necessary
- Authorising leave and managing absences including sickness
- Maintaining accurate records relating to caretaking, service charges, performance monitoring, sickness absence, risk assessments, and other team documentation
- Ensuring the team is well trained, knowledgeable, and compliant with health and safety legislation, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of chemicals and equipment, and accident/incident reporting
- Resolving issues creatively and sensitively in line with procedures
- Monitoring tasks to ensure services are delivered to the correct frequencies and standards
- Deputising for and assisting the Service Delivery Manager as required

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in supervising and managing a team, preferably within a housing or caretaking environment. Experience in resource allocation, performance monitoring, and health and safety compliance is essential.

You are motivated, highly organised, and ambitious with excellent attention to detail. You can work independently and as part of a wider team. You demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to resolve issues sensitively and creatively. Commitment to health and safety and compliance with relevant legislation is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in housing, caretaking, or facilities management are desirable but not essential. A commitment to ongoing learning and development is expected.
