About the Role
Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Night Porter - Concierge to assist arriving guests with their luggage and transportation requirements and provide exceptional guest service. You will operate and maintain standard financial control procedures to ensure accurate accounting and reporting. Additionally, you will provide efficient and courteous front desk and reservations service to all guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel located in the heart of charming Kensington, just a minute's walk from Gloucester Road Underground station, offering convenient access around London. The hotel features 610 spacious guest rooms and a variety of dining options including Humphrey’s Café & Bar, South West 7, and the Bombay Brasserie. The hotel also houses the Millennium Conference Centre, which offers flexible meeting spaces including 26 function rooms covering 1,600m2 and can accommodate up to 600 delegates. The conservatory, with palm trees, a piano, exclusive bar area, and dance floor, can cater for up to 300 guests.

Experience
Experience in large hotel operations and knowledge of Opera and Oracle systems is required. Proven ability to multitask and manage operations proactively is essential.

You have a thorough knowledge of local city activities including theatre, arts, exhibits, concerts, shows, sports, and leisure activities, as well as established contacts with city restaurants to enhance guest service. Your conduct is always friendly, courteous, and professional in meeting guest needs.

Qualifications
Ability to handle guest messages, mail, packages, flowers, and faxes accurately. You review all memos, logbooks, messages, VIP lists, and function sheets to stay fully informed of hotel functions and events.
