Hours
17.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday, 19:45 - 07:15. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements, including bank holidays and evenings.

Salary
£27,000 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a Recovery Worker to join our night team, supporting the successful rehabilitation and reintegration of male residents and participants into the community. In this role, you will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions to enable successful resettlement. You will collaborate with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Working within a trauma-informed and psychologically informed environment, you will empower residents to achieve their goals and improve their well-being. Your responsibilities include conducting welfare checks, providing guidance, responding to individual needs, and ensuring the smooth running of the night service. You will also complete administrative tasks and provide thorough handovers to day staff and managers to maintain consistent service.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
- Empowering residents to take control of their lives and meet personal goals
- Planning activities to engage residents with communities and opportunities
- Building trusting professional relationships through tailored one-to-one and group sessions, wellbeing check-ins, and activities
- Being a reliable team member, completing handovers for night colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with people from complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector, particularly relating to multiple and complex needs and homelessness.

- Intermediate IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other software
- Flexibility in working patterns to meet service and resident needs
- Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision
- Capability to liaise and work effectively with stakeholders and partners
- Understanding of the social marginalisation faced by people with multiple and complex needs
