Salary
Competitive salary with annual increments and cost of living pay awards. Starting salary normally at the minimum of the pay scale, with potential for higher starting salary based on exceptional skills, knowledge, or experience.

About the Role
Be part of a long-term complex occupational therapy team that truly cares about patients and supports your professional growth. In Kensington and Chelsea, we focus on supporting people’s independence and wellbeing, enabling them to live in the community with dignity, choice, and control. You will provide a professional Occupational Therapy service to physically disabled residents within the borough, aiming to enhance independence, reduce dependency on care, and manage risks associated with daily life activities.

Our team delivers person-centred care, assessing people’s capabilities using a variety of approaches and helping them find motivation and support to progress. You will guide and mentor colleagues, including OT students, and promote a culture of learning. Throughout, you will have the full support of a close-knit community team.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS with Adult Barred List. Interviews will take place on 14th October 2026.

Experience
Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with significant experience carrying out OT assessments for disabled people and their carers, ideally with a community-based background.

About you
Empathic and sensitive to the needs of people with complex health conditions. Well-developed persuasion skills to motivate patients and ensure progress. Comfortable working with electronic case management systems. Committed to person-centred care and professional development.

Qualifications
Registered Occupational Therapist status is essential. Enhanced DBS with Adult Barred List clearance required.
