Opening in late 2026, Delano London brings the spirit and celebrated heritage of the iconic Delano Miami Beach to London, reimagined for a new generation. Under the general guidance of the Concierge, the Porter is responsible for meeting, greeting, and assisting in transporting guests’ luggage and items to and from their rooms in a courteous, timely and professional manner. Key responsibilities include greeting guests at the door and lobby, assisting and covering door people during breaks, escorting guests to their rooms while explaining room facilities and promoting hotel outlets such as the restaurant, bar and spa.

The role also involves delivering luggage, messages, faxes, packages and other guest requests to ensure comfort, transporting departing guests’ luggage, ensuring safe and tidy luggage storage, and maintaining knowledge of hotel services, local events and functions. The Porter must be able to drive safely and efficiently, keep records of any incidents while driving, and ensure guest safety and security during transport.

Providing gracious, attentive and friendly service is essential, as is the willingness to perform various related tasks in the spirit of exceptional guest service. Above all, the successful candidate must love and take care of guests.

Experience
One to two years in a public contact position, preferably within an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Additional language skills are preferred.
Full and clean driving licence required.
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance, adhering to uniform guidelines as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Working knowledge of basic safety, security, data protection and emergency procedures in a hotel setting.
