About the Role
Delano London is seeking an exceptional Storeman to join its pre-opening team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing goods and supplies for the hotel’s various departments, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and compliance with internal controls and safety standards. This role is key to ensuring all hotel outlets receive necessary materials in a timely and efficient manner. You will maintain proper inventory levels, ensure goods are stored safely and securely, and verify that deliveries meet the hotel’s specifications and quality standards.

As part of this visionary hospitality brand, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the hotel’s supply chain and inventory management.
Key responsibilities include receiving and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting goods for quality and condition, storing supplies according to FIFO and food safety standards, maintaining storeroom cleanliness and organization, logging inventory accurately, issuing items to departments, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers and department heads, and adhering to all hotel procedures related to inventory control and safety. You will also operate material handling equipment safely and assist with inventory reporting and end-of-month procedures.
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in receiving, storeroom, or warehouse operations, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment. Familiarity with hotel department supply needs is advantageous.
Experience with inventory systems and procurement software such as BirchStreet or Adaco is preferred.
About you
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with the ability to accurately count, record, and reconcile inventory. Observant and able to respond quickly to discrepancies or supply issues. Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Understanding of safety and sanitation standards related to food and supply storage. Ability to follow manual handling policies and internal control procedures diligently.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of internal control practices and inventory documentation procedures. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently. A proactive and responsible approach to maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with hotel standards.
