About the Role
Delano London, opening in late 2026, brings the spirit and celebrated heritage of the iconic Delano Miami Beach to London, reimagined for a new generation. Set overlooking Kensington Gardens, the hotel will feature 67 rooms and suites, Lana Lusa (the legendary Rose Bar and Rose Lounge), alongside The Source wellness offering. As a Waiter / Waitress joining the pre-opening team, you will be based primarily in Lana Lusa, our all-day restaurant. Your role is to create an effortless guest experience through warm, intuitive service, strong product knowledge and genuine personality.

Your key responsibilities will include welcoming guests warmly and delivering attentive table service from arrival through to farewell; building confident knowledge of the food and beverage menus, ingredients, allergens and preparation methods to guide guests naturally; taking orders accurately and making thoughtful recommendations to enhance the experience and average spend; managing your section with strong attention to timing, table maintenance, check-backs and guest cues; communicating clearly with Culinary, bar, runners and managers to ensure orders are accurate and service flows smoothly; preparing your section before service and maintaining excellent presentation, cleanliness and mise en place throughout the shift; recognising and communicating allergies, dietary requirements, celebrations, VIPs and special requests; handling POS entries and payments accurately while following cash and company procedures; responding positively to guest feedback and involving senior team members when support is required; supporting Private Dining, Room Service, Rose Bar or other Food & Beverage areas when needed; and following food safety, Health & Safety and all relevant service standards.

Experience
Previous waiting experience in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel or high-quality hospitality environment is preferred, or the attitude and potential to succeed in one.

About you
You are warm, confident and naturally attentive, with a genuine interest in people and hospitality. You enjoy learning about food, wine and beverages and sharing that knowledge without sounding scripted. You are organised, quick on your feet and able to manage multiple priorities while keeping your composure. You are a collaborative team player who communicates clearly and takes pride in the details. Flexibility to work breakfast, evenings, weekends and key hospitality moments is essential.
