About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to lead the coordination of Barnet Council’s Crisis and Resilience Fund programme, a £6 million fund designed to support residents during challenging times and build financial resilience. This role involves managing the effective delivery of the programme through strong project management, partnership working, and ensuring high-quality support that improves residents’ financial and social resilience.
You will work collaboratively across Council departments and with voluntary and community sector partners to maximise the impact of preventative and early intervention activities. Key responsibilities include delivering workstreams such as developing materials for staff and residents, reviewing and improving crisis payment approaches, and using data and insight to target support effectively.
This is a wide-ranging and impactful role that requires working across multiple stakeholders to make a real difference to residents in Barnet.

Experience
Proven experience managing projects and/or programmes with the ability to organise and focus on complex and competing priorities. Experience using data and insight to inform decisions and draw conclusions is essential.

You have excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships quickly and sharing information effectively with a wide range of audiences including residents, voluntary sector partners, senior managers, and local politicians.
