About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Architect to support Finance programmes by delivering a comprehensive data and technology strategy aligned with Transformation targets. You will join a dedicated and collaborative team focused on delivering excellence to our customers. The role involves reviewing and assessing business functional and control requirements, designing technical architecture solutions for Finance that align with organisational technical strategy and standards, and providing clear solution views to all stakeholders. You will support vendor selection, assess impact against current and emerging engineering landscapes, and ensure technical quality and adherence to the organisation’s Digital Blueprint, Enterprise Architecture, and Product Roadmaps. This role requires close collaboration with business, operations, technology stakeholders, and end-users to build holistic views of problem statements and design complex ecosystems involving CRM, Billing, ERP, Sales & Marketing, and other customer footprint systems. You will also communicate and present to governance forums for review and signoff of new design patterns, blending technical and behavioural skills to support delivery teams effectively.

Experience
- Proven experience in architecture patterns and flows for Finance.
- Experience with Oracle technologies (DB, Fusion SaaS, ORMB, or EPM) is a plus.
- Expertise in architecture, design, and delivery for Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle) and on-premises environments, including integrations.
- Strong understanding of data concepts for capturing and reporting data.
- Ability to independently support streams within Finance functions.
- Experience delivering strategic data solutions related to Customer, Finance, Compliance, or Risk requirements in banking, financial services, regulated organisations, or B2B sales organisations.
- Familiarity with different solution models such as SaaS, PaaS, and managed services.
- Proven track record using industry-standard processes and frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical information to non-technical partners and adapt based on feedback.
