About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Prisoner Working Supervisor to join our team at HMP Feltham, a C & Under 18's Men's prison. Join a supportive and driven team that works together Monday to Friday to create a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Feltham operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning smoothly. As part of the Prisoner Working Supervisor Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility. Your work will impact prisoners, employees, visitors, and the wider community.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all committed to making a positive difference and providing a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience in managing small scale refurbishments and projects - Essential
- Experience of supervising staff - Essential
- Understanding of how to use tools and equipment to complete small scale refurbishments - Essential
- Knowledge of working safely and applying health and safety principles - Essential
- Understanding of prisons and prisoner working systems or willingness to learn - Desirable
- Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders - Desirable

Qualifications
