About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Prisoner Working Supervisor to join our team at HMP Feltham, a Category C & Under 18's men's prison, as a CRED Supervisor. HMP Feltham operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning smoothly and safely. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in supporting every prisoner, employee, visitor, and the wider community through your work.

In this role, you will offer mentorship and work collaboratively to achieve objectives and overcome challenges. You will act as a 'guardian' advocating for fair treatment and opportunity for all, using your trade experience and calm nature to build, support, and implement projects that promote prisoner rehabilitation through maintenance work within the prison estate.

Experience
- Ability to use tools and equipment for small-scale refurbishments - Essential
- Knowledge of working safely and applying health and safety principles - Essential
- Experience managing small-scale refurbishments and projects - Essential
- Experience supervising staff - Essential
- Understanding of prisons and prisoner working systems, or a willingness to learn - Desirable
