About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Feltham. The site comprises two areas: Feltham (A site), a Young Offender Institution (YOI) housing children and young people aged 15 to 18 years, and Feltham (B site), a Category C prison and YOI holding young people and men up to the age of 30 years. HMP Feltham operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning smoothly and safely. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site, impacting prisoners, employees, visitors, and the wider community.

In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of skilled professionals including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all committed to creating a safe and secure environment. Experience
Experience in plumbing or mechanical engineering at Level 2 or equivalent is required. A good understanding of Health & Safety practices is essential. Previous experience working in a facilities maintenance environment or similar setting is advantageous.

Qualifications
