About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Pentonville, a Category B male prison. You will be part of a supportive and driven team working Monday to Sunday to maintain a safe and secure environment. HMP Pentonville operates like a self-contained city, and our team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the facility, impacting prisoners, employees, visitors, and the wider community.

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer, you will work alongside experienced colleagues from various trades including electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all committed to making a positive difference. This role offers the opportunity to use your skills to contribute to rehabilitation and positive change within the prison environment.

Experience
Experience in plumbing or mechanical engineering at Level 2 or equivalent is required. Good Health & Safety knowledge is essential. Excellent organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills are important to succeed in this role.

Qualifications
