About the Role
We are seeking a Programme Coordinator to join the Regeneration, Enabling and Development teams within the Housing Directorate. This role supports the delivery of housing capital developments and plays a key part in managing some of London's most exciting affordable housing schemes.
You will manage the day-to-day relationship with the Greater London Authority (GLA), our key funder, ensuring funds of over £100 million are spent on time, managing audits to maintain ‘green’ status, and coordinating quarterly liaison meetings. You will oversee the OPS system and assist with bids, projects, and programmes.
Additionally, you will act as the lead statutory consultee for the Local Planning Authority (LPA), commenting on planning applications from a housing development perspective and ensuring Section 106 and nominations commitments are secured and monitored effectively.
You will also lead the day-to-day management of the enabling function, supporting registered provider partners developing affordable housing in the borough.
Beyond these key responsibilities, you will support project, development, and regeneration managers in delivering schemes and programmes.
We offer a competitive package, a hybrid working environment, and the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team committed to making Sutton a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
