Within the Peoples Services Directorate, the Insights & Delivery Service is the operational and analytical hub supporting adult and children's social care services. The Business Systems Team manages core social care systems such as Mosaic, providing system ownership, configuration, and training to frontline teams.
As Senior Systems Officer (Finance), you will maintain, develop, and optimise the financial components of the Mosaic case management system. Your responsibilities include leading the configuration of finance modules such as charging, payments, commitments, and budget codes, ensuring compliance with statutory adult social care requirements and corporate finance procedures. You will act as a key liaison between social care services, finance teams, and software suppliers, coordinating monthly payment runs, supporting budget forecasting, and contributing to strategic financial transformation projects. Additionally, you will design and deliver targeted training to improve staff proficiency in the system.

Experience
- Hands-on experience configuring charging rules, payment logic, and provider payment processes within case management systems.
- Strong familiarity with social care financial frameworks, statutory guidance, and local charging policies.
- Proven ability to work confidently with finance teams, operational managers, and external suppliers.
- Knowledge of Business World or equivalent local authority finance systems is highly desirable.
