About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and knowledgeable Programme Manager to oversee our £100m+ grant funding programmes. In this pivotal role, you will manage grant income streams and ensure full compliance with funding conditions from bodies such as the GLA, Homes England and Local Authorities. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise grant uptake, maintain accurate records, and support the delivery of affordable housing projects. Your expertise in funding systems and regulatory frameworks will be essential to ensure Peabody continues to deliver high-impact housing programmes across London and the South East.
Key responsibilities include managing grant claims and bids, monitoring compliance with the Capital Funding Guide, and maintaining accurate forecasting through systems such as OPS, IMS and Pamwin. You will lead compliance audits, produce reports for stakeholder review, and ensure timely submissions to funders. Collaboration with Development colleagues to support scheme delivery, managing intra-company agreement processes, and providing compliance assurance to senior leadership will also be critical. Additionally, you will communicate funding changes, support new programme initiatives, and contribute to internal reviews and governance processes. This role is key to ensuring Peabody’s development programmes are financially sound and fully compliant.
Experience
- Proven experience managing GLA and Homes England funding programmes, including use of OPS and IMS systems.
- Strong understanding of housing development processes and capital funding guide requirements.
- Experienced in compiling statistical and management reports with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Pamwin or similar development appraisal and cash flow systems.
- Ability to assess risk, ensure compliance, and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
