About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of our Adult Skills programmes, supporting Londoners to gain the skills, qualifications and employment opportunities they need to thrive. Based within Adult Skills Education Services, you will oversee high-profile employability and vocational training programmes, including Talent Pathways and Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs), ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners, employers and funding partners.

Your key responsibilities will include leading the operational delivery of Adult Skills funded programmes, managing internal teams and subcontractors, monitoring programme performance, budgets and risks, and ensuring compliance with funding rules, quality assurance, safeguarding and equality requirements. You will build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, referral agencies, community organisations and other stakeholders, oversee accurate data collection and reporting, collaborate with marketing colleagues to promote programme success, and drive continuous improvement to maximise learner achievement and positive employment outcomes.

This is a full-time, fixed term role for 2 years, workplace based at Guildhall, City of London.

Requirements

Experience
- Significant experience managing publicly funded skills, employability or vocational training programmes.
- Proven track record of delivering contracts against performance targets, KPIs and funding requirements.
- Experience leading teams and managing subcontractors to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, contract compliance and government-funded training programmes.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or PMP.
