About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our Investment team, playing a key role in delivering major sustainability retrofit programmes across our housing portfolio. This dynamic and rewarding role involves managing refurbishment and improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and residents to ensure every project meets regulatory requirements and delivers excellent customer outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to Peabody’s commitment to improving homes, reducing carbon emissions, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

You will lead the delivery of sustainability retrofit projects, preparing specifications and schedules of works in line with PAS2035 standards. Managing relationships with consultants and contractors, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently and comply with procurement, statutory, and regulatory frameworks. Acting as the Client under CDM Regulations, you will provide technical advice to colleagues and oversee the performance of external partners. Responsibilities also include managing budgets, resolving complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction across all tenures, contributing to project reviews, maintaining accurate property data, and supporting the wider Investment team in promoting best practice and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience in delivering refurbishment contracts and sustainability retrofit schemes
- Strong working knowledge of building construction, regulations, and contract management

About you
- Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects to a high standard

Qualifications
- MRICS, CIOB, Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification and/or experience in managing construction projects
