About the Role

Study to Masters Degree Level whilst working as a Public Health Analyst Apprentice (Level 7) across all six South East London Councils. Analyse health and care data to improve public health outcomes, support policy-making, and enhance the efficiency of healthcare services. The apprenticeship involves working with large datasets, collaborating with council colleagues, NHS and government bodies, and ensuring compliance with public health regulations. Experience
Less than 3 years of experience working in Public Health. No prior extensive experience required but a statistical module studied at university or a willingness and ability to learn and apply statistics in projects is essential. Candidates with a PhD or undergraduate/Masters in Public Health or Epidemiology are not suited to this role.

Motivated to progress in an analytical career within Public Health. Enthusiastic about learning and applying statistical methods. Able to work collaboratively across multiple organisations and adapt to a rotating placement structure.

Qualifications
Willingness to study towards a Masters Degree level qualification as part of the apprenticeship. No specific prior qualifications required beyond the statistical knowledge or willingness to learn.
