About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk by advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

The Moody’s Ratings and Research Support (RRS) internship program is a 10-week full-time experience designed to help students develop skills valuable for a future career in financial services. This internally facing role reports to a Team Manager and offers a comprehensive view of Moody’s business and culture, along with opportunities to build professional and technical skills. Program elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series, and volunteer events.

Interns will support analytical teams on projects and day-to-day work, including participating in case studies to build analytical understanding, working on analytical, research, data, and process-related projects, collecting data and identifying trends to support credit conclusions, preparing financial documents, charts, and presentations, monitoring media outlets for news related to special projects or portfolios, providing analytical and research support to rating teams, and contributing to the creation of high-quality research publications.

Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody’s professionals, gain exposure to diverse career paths, and develop a broader understanding of the company. Successful Summer Interns may be considered for an offer to join Moody’s as a Ratings Associate after graduation.

Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. Employment is contingent upon compliance with Moody’s Policy for Securities Trading and related requirements.
