About the Role
Join Maria Mallaband Care Group as a Registered Nurse and be empowered to deliver exceptional care every day. In this role, you will advocate for residents by planning daily activities, creating tailored care plans, and ensuring individual needs and choices are met with dignity and respect. You will provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support, champion safeguarding principles, and serve as a role model to your colleagues. Key responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, infection prevention and control, team management and shift planning, liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams, and upholding clinical governance standards. Experience with PCS system, medication management, and strong leadership skills are highly valued. The role requires an excellent understanding of dementia and complex care.

About the Location
Heritage Care Centre is a modern, purpose-built two-storey home offering residential and nursing care for elderly residents. All rooms are ensuite and decorated to high standards with fresh, modern décor and WiFi throughout. The home is known for its friendly and comfortable atmosphere, with a dedicated activity coordinator organising a variety of accessible events and outings. Facilities include a bar and café widely used by residents and their families.

Experience
Nursing home experience is desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a nursing role is ideal but not required. Whether newly qualified or experienced, tailored training and development will be provided.

Qualifications
- Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC
- Valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility
- Knowledge and experience in syringe driver use, catheterisation, blood sampling, PEG feeding, stoma care, and medication administration
- Good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
- Role subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks to ensure safe recruitment
