Full Time - 35 hours per week, working pattern 08:00 – 16:00.

£27,860 (London weighted salary) depending on experience.

About the Role
Join our Estate Services Team at L&Q as a Relief Caretaker on a permanent basis. This role is essential in our commitment to providing a responsive customer-based service for our residents. The Relief Caretaking Team covers for caretakers' annual leave, extended sickness, and vacancies. While primarily focused on the East and North East areas of London, you may occasionally be required to cover in neighboring areas. Excellent organizational skills and time management are essential as you will work across various sites. You will carry out a variety of caretaking tasks including Health and Safety checks, cleaning, rota management, and small repairs. If you have trade skills, DIY experience, or gardening experience, it would be an advantage. Although the role is predominantly lone working, you should also be able to work effectively as part of a team when necessary. If you are willing to learn, have good decision-making skills, and can work under pressure, we would love to hear from you.

Experience
Experience in caretaking or related fields is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is essential.

About you
You must be a good communicator with basic Word and Excel skills, as these programs are used frequently. You should be self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative, and effectively organize your own time. A proactive approach to daily activities and a good understanding of safe working practices are required. Practical Health and Safety experience is essential.

Qualifications
A full, clean manual driving licence is mandatory, as L&Q operates a manual fleet. Access to secure overnight parking is also required if issued a company vehicle.
