About the Role
The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for guests and other stakeholders, providing friendly and professional service. You will accurately enter booking information into the Opera system in a timely manner and operate with a selling attitude to maximise room sales and hotel revenues. Key responsibilities include being fully conversant with the Opera system for individual and group reservations, adhering to departmental standards and procedures, obtaining all necessary reservation information accurately and efficiently, and maintaining thorough product knowledge to assist clients effectively. You will also be expected to identify sales opportunities within the hotel to help maximise revenue and ensure telephone calls are answered and handled promptly according to departmental standards.
