About the Role
Balfour Beatty is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Reward Partner to help shape and deliver the company’s reward agenda across the UK. In this role, you’ll provide trusted advice to HR and business leaders, using insight and analysis to support thoughtful, well-informed decisions on compensation, benefits and the wider employee proposition. You will lead key reward projects and annual activities, including salary and incentive reviews, job evaluation, benchmarking and benefits initiatives. Working across both strategic and operational priorities, you will turn complex data into clear recommendations and ensure reward policies and frameworks remain competitive, effective and aligned with business needs. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact across a complex UK organisation, strengthening the approach to total reward and helping Balfour Beatty remain an employer of choice.

What you'll be doing
Further develop the UK employee proposition from a reward perspective, using internal and external insights to inform recommendations. Provide experienced project leadership and expert advice across a broad range of UK reward activities and projects. Support the development of reward strategy, policy and associated frameworks. Undertake robust job evaluation and benchmarking, providing a holistic reward interface for line managers and HR Business Partners. Prepare professional, polished documentation and analysis for presentation to senior stakeholders as required. Use a range of job market data sources confidently, understanding how they inform the reward framework and wider reward strategy. Produce data and analysis for stakeholders, the wider Reward Team and specific projects across all areas of reward. Lead and manage the annual incentive and salary review processes, ensuring effective end-to-end delivery. Coordinate the implementation of Group- and UK-led benefits initiatives. Support systems development, including data input, testing and reporting within the compensation and benefits HR system. Develop engaging reward-related employee communications that enhance understanding and engagement across the UK population. Manage relationships with benefit suppliers to ensure effective service delivery and value for money. Respond to reward and benefits queries as required. Build strong relationships with the HRSS administration team (payroll, benefits, project support), providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure they remain informed of the UK reward strategy and understand any operational implications.
