About the Role
Delano London, opening in late 2026 and overlooking Kensington Gardens, brings the spirit and celebrated heritage of the iconic Delano Miami Beach to London, reimagined for a new generation. The hotel will feature 67 rooms and suites, Lana Lusa, the legendary Rose Bar and Rose Lounge, alongside The Source wellness offering. As Room Service Supervisor, you will join the pre-opening team to help lead our 24-hour Room Service operation, creating a private dining experience that is as considered, warm and polished as our restaurants and bars. You will supervise day-to-day Room Service shifts, ensuring orders are taken, prepared, checked and delivered accurately and within agreed service times. You will lead the guest journey from order through delivery, set-up, follow-up and collection, ensuring every interaction feels personal and discreet.

You will coordinate closely with Culinary, Lana Lusa, Rose Bar, Front Office and Housekeeping teams to deliver a seamless in-room experience. Supporting and coaching Room Service attendants, allocating duties and maintaining strong coverage across shifts will be key responsibilities. You will check trays, trolleys, hot boxes, linen, crockery, condiments and amenities before departure to ensure presentation is complete and consistent.

Maintaining strong knowledge of menus, beverages, allergens, dietary requirements and hotel information will enable you to advise guests confidently. You will support VIP amenities, special occasions, late-night requests and Private Dining requirements when needed. Monitoring order accuracy, delivery times, guest feedback and service recovery, you will take prompt action when standards are not met.

Additional duties include managing opening and closing procedures, handovers, equipment storage, stock levels and operational checklists. You will ensure POS orders, postings and payments are processed accurately and follow up on discrepancies. Supporting training and pre-opening set-up, you will help establish practical SOPs and service routines for a 24-hour operation while maintaining food safety, Health & Safety, security, privacy and company standards at all times.

Experience
Supervisory experience in Room Service, restaurants or luxury hotel Food & Beverage is essential. Proven ability to manage a 24-hour operation and coordinate across multiple departments.

About you
You understand the importance of discretion, timing and detail when serving guests in their rooms. You are a calm and organised shift leader who communicates effectively with guests and hotel teams. Strong food and beverage knowledge, including handling allergies, special requests and service recovery, is required. You are comfortable using POS systems, operational checklists and basic stock controls. Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends and key hospitality moments is necessary.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in hospitality or Food & Beverage supervision are advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for delivering thoughtful, intuitive and genuinely warm hospitality with a positive attitude is essential.
