About the Role
Our Sales Internship Programme offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a global financial markets organisation. At London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), we help customers access trusted data, technology, and market infrastructure that support businesses and economies worldwide. As a Sales Intern, you will work alongside experienced commercial teams to build and maintain client relationships, understand customer needs, and support business development activities. You will gain exposure to how LSEG delivers value across financial markets through its data, analytics, technology, and market services solutions.

This internship is designed to provide practical experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while helping you develop core commercial, analytical, and communication skills. During the internship, you may:
- Support sales and account management teams with client engagement activities
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify business opportunities
- Analyse customer and industry trends to help inform commercial decisions
- Assist with presentations, proposals, and sales materials
- Collaborate with colleagues across different business functions and regions
- Develop an understanding of LSEG’s products, services, and customers

Experience
Penultimate year undergraduate students due to complete all course requirements by September 2028 are eligible. Demonstrable interest in financial markets gained through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities is essential.

About you
You should have a curiosity for data and the ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions. Strategic thinking and the ability to connect the dots are important. The role requires focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others are key. Ideal candidates will have the right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the programme. You will stand out if you demonstrate that how you achieve results is as important as what you achieve.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required beyond being a penultimate year undergraduate student. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for financial markets are critical.
