You will contribute to delivering and managing complex technical changes and optimising systems to maximise value and align with BBC business goals. This is an exciting opportunity to support the evolution of the BBC’s financial systems through technology that creates meaningful impact.

You will be part of a small, established team working collaboratively in a rapidly developing and transformative space. Your key responsibilities include contributing to the technical roadmap for systems and services, coordinating small to medium technical changes by clarifying requirements and managing change processes with outsourced providers, supporting larger projects with technical change elements, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and working with outsourced technology partners to resolve incidents of varying severity.

- Proven ability to translate project, business, user, and product requirements into effective technical and functional solutions, balancing multiple priorities and guiding outcomes.
- Strong technical expertise in SAP ECC6 and S/4HANA integrations across finance, sales, reporting, and third-party platforms using APIs, middleware, IDocs, web services, and event-driven architectures.
- Deep knowledge of SAP FI/CO, Project Systems, Intercompany, Tax, Fixed Assets, and Banking, with extensive integration experience across MM, BW, SD, and HR.
- Recent demonstrable experience working within a complex SAP landscape, reviewing technical and functional documentation, and revising based on SAP best practice, quality, clarity, and completeness.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, able to engage, influence, and build credibility with senior business leaders, product owners, architects, engineers, suppliers, and delivery teams.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly, lead requirement gathering, evaluate solution options, and provide recommendations aligned to engineering standards and strategic objectives.

About you
You are passionate about using technology to create meaningful impact and thrive in a collaborative, fast-evolving environment. You are motivated to contribute to transformational projects and continuously improve systems and processes. You have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
