About the Role
Embark on a rewarding career at Highgate Wood School, where you will provide support and leadership in all areas of the operational functions as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). In this role, you will lead on the maintenance and development of the budget as well as the financial procedures and systems of the school, ensuring the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial information to the Headteacher and Governing Body, facilitating the school’s readiness to meet Ofsted and the School’s Financial Value Standards (SFVS) criteria.

This is a permanent position with an ideal start date in November 2026, although a January 2027 start can be accommodated. Interviews will take place during the week commencing 5th October 2026. The closing date for applications is Monday 28th September 2026 at 09:00 am.

Experience
At least 2 years’ leadership experience in financial and/or business management.

Ability to be a good role model for students and colleagues.

Qualifications
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management or Accountancy.
