About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) service in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The SEN service is responsible for carrying out Education Health & Care (EHC) needs assessments, writing, issuing and maintaining EHC plans, and coordinating the educational placement of children and young people with SEND. The successful applicant will be passionate and driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse community. As Team Manager, you will lead a dynamic and diligent SEN Statutory EHCP Co-ordinator team, support the SENAR Service Manager to deliver key priorities, and work collaboratively with schools and key partners both within and outside Tower Hamlets to ensure the best outcomes for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Experience
Proven experience as an SEN manager with strong leadership skills.
Experience working effectively within a diverse community and managing a statutory EHCP Co-ordinator team.
