About the Role
Linklaters is a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices. We pride ourselves on being a people business, where exceptional talent and collaboration drive our success. We foster an environment of outperformance through a positive, supportive, fair, and inclusive culture that values diversity and challenges bias.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will engage in Business Analysis to the highest standards across the full project and product lifecycle. This includes problem statement definition, discovery, requirements management, process mapping, business change analysis, data analysis, and running UATs. You will work collaboratively with product owners, project and programme managers, delivery teams, architects, data engineers, data scientists, lawyers, business teams, and other stakeholders to define scope, objectives, benefits, and deliverables.

Your role will involve leading requirements discovery and technical backlog management in partnership with product owners, translating business needs into clear epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability using Azure DevOps. You will run large and complex workshops with diverse stakeholder groups in person, virtually, or in hybrid formats.

You will elicit requirements within Agile or Waterfall methodologies and translate business outcomes into clear functional and non-functional requirements. A practical understanding of data concepts will enable you to confidently engage with data engineers, scientists, and analytics teams.

Additional responsibilities include supporting third-party selection processes, running and supporting UAT sessions, assisting the testing team with acceptance criteria and test scripts, and supporting training teams with project rollout materials. You will actively identify risks and issues with product, project, and programme teams and propose suitable mitigations.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will promote the value of Business Analysis across the firm, manage complex stakeholders to successful outcomes, advocate knowledge sharing, mentor colleagues, and demonstrate analysis tools and techniques in team meetings.
