Apply now, and be part of our success. ABOUT THE JOB We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Commissioner to join our Supporting Independence team. The portfolio covers our accommodation based services (c.£30m spend), including Supported Living, Extra Care, Shared Lives, Rough Sleeping and Single Vulnerable Homeless. The role will oversee the management of a team of commissioners and quality assurance managers, with a particular focus on working closer with Housing colleagues to develop opportunities to meet challenges around providing housing and support for vulnerable homeless people through creative commissioning. You would be joining the team at a key and exciting time, with an ambitious transformation plan agreed by Cabinet in place for this area and a passionate and dedicate team in place to deliver change. With the very recent establishment of a multi-lot Dynamic Purchasing Vehicle, there is real opportunity to significantly transform service provision across the whole portfolio through strategically procuring a wide range of new and existing services.
