About the Role
BBC Local is seeking a dynamic and insightful Senior Content Producer to lead the production of the prestigious Make A Difference Show, broadcast on Sunday afternoons and presented by Gaby Roslin. This weekly show, networked across England, celebrates extraordinary contributions from individuals and organisations making a significant impact in their communities, drawing inspiration and content from the BBC's Make A Difference Awards. The programme features a mix of high-profile celebrity interviews aligned with the show's theme.
The Make A Difference Show is the central hub of the inspiring Make A Difference brand, which highlights unsung heroes across the country through awards ceremonies and special themed days. This role requires a producer who embodies these values and can create positive, engaging, and inspiring content.
BBC Extend Programme
This role is part of the BBC Extend programme for disabled people. Applicants should identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and meet the legal definition of disability under the Equality Act (2010) or Disability Discrimination Act (1995) if applying in Northern Ireland. Experience
Proven experience as a radio producer in a similar role with strong audio craft skills.
