About the Role
We are looking for senior writers to join BBC Creative, the BBC’s in-house creative agency. Our ambition is to produce the most creative marketing in the world for the most creative media brand in the world. We aim to create work that is talked about and leaves a positive mark on popular culture. As a Senior Creative, you will work on conceptual campaigns for a wide variety of high priority BBC products and services, ranging from drama launches to major music events and sports tournaments, helping to build the UK’s most iconic brand.

Your Key Responsibilities and Impact
- Take the lead on projects, directing and overseeing other Creatives as needed
- Create and oversee complex, innovative and effective promotional campaigns based on lateral concepts where appropriate
- Develop and present multiple ideas and concepts for each project
- Work to formal and informal creative briefs, ensuring material is highly targeted and meets agreed objectives
- Ensure all creative work across different platforms aligns with the BBC’s strategic vision and find innovative ways to drive that vision forward
- Take a proactive role in developing and coaching others

Experience
Proven experience as an outstanding Creative with a significant body of work creating multi-media campaigns across a range of brands. Demonstrable excellence in idea generation and conceptual thinking.

About You
- Outstanding copywriting and/or art direction skills
- Ability to create multi-media campaigns for all platforms
- Excellent pitch and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and mentoring more junior creatives

A significant portfolio of work will be required for review. Transferable strengths and relevant skills are welcomed and encouraged.
