The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in delivering the Trust’s equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) ambitions by building a comprehensive Workforce Data and Intelligence picture to support the overall strategy. Working collaboratively across the EDI Team and Workforce Systems & Intelligence Team, the role involves coordinating, collating, and managing timely and accurate workforce intelligence related to equality, diversity and inclusion, alongside managing projects to improve workforce data quality and compliance monitoring.
The post holder will lead the creation and maintenance of EDI dashboards, ensure timely statutory returns such as WRES, WDES, and Gender Pay Gap reporting, and support the Associate Director of EDI in coordinating workforce information projects. This role requires managing projects from initiation to completion, including workforce planning and data quality improvement initiatives, while ensuring adherence to data governance protocols.

Experience
- Advanced knowledge and experience of using ESR or Oracle HRMS database
- Experience designing, developing, and running Discoverer reports
- Extensive experience producing reports and management information for end users
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Experience working in a large NHS organisation or similar environment
- Experience managing, planning, and coordinating projects
- Effective prioritisation and coordination of varied workload to tight deadlines
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and procedures

Qualifications
- Graduate level qualification or equivalent experience in system management or information role
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Access, and Excel (including pivot tables, charts, forms, queries, reports, and macros)
- Detailed working knowledge of database structures and relational databases
- Knowledge of Equality and Diversity statutory reporting sets (WRES, WDES, Gender Pay Gap)
