About the Role

The Mace consultancy BIM team resides within Mace Consult, assisting clients, project, and senior managers with maintaining requirements, information standards, supporting the development and management of processes within the common data environment, and improving the delivery of the information management function.
The role involves understanding, developing, and implementing processes described within ISO 19650 from assessment and need through to project closeout. This includes how information is produced and assured for digital delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Reading, understanding, and supporting the delivery of all Mace process and procedure guides
- Learning fundamentals of authoring information
- Quality assuring (QA) all information (documents and data) coming onto the system daily and processing it in accordance with project protocols
- Working closely with Mace project management and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the management system
- Liaising with clients, designers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring security protocols are followed for viewing and issuing information on all projects
- Occasionally supporting teams responsible for producing the information model
- Being responsible for the assurance and checking of the information model
Experience
You will have a construction or project management background with an advanced understanding of ISO 19650 and BS1192 standards. Experience in digital engineering and BIM management is essential.
