About the Role
An exciting Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner opportunity has arisen in LSEG’s Markets FX division. Reporting to the division’s Finance Director, you will play an important role in commercial finance for the FX business, working closely with the FX leadership team, including the Head of Sales and Head of Product. LSEG FX operates the world’s largest electronic trading ecosystem which enables execution of over US$550 billion in daily trading volumes, connecting 2,400 buy-side institutions with over 200 global banks and liquidity providers across more than 100 countries.

You will present and participate at recurring Sales and Product Forums, including Global Town Halls, Steering Committees and Weekly Sales Leadership Team meetings. You will lead the end-to-end sales commission process for individual sales staff, including preparing annual commission targets, calculating quarterly commissions, performing associated controls and ensuring accurate submission to the Sales & Account Management team for payment. Significant advances have been made in simplifying the sales commissions process, including transition from spreadsheets to databases for source information, with further simplification as a key focus area.

The sales commission incentive structure and related calculations are evolving to encourage onboarding of new customers and business. You will work closely with the leadership team to shape and implement proposed changes. You will review Monthly and Quarterly Performance Review reports (including the Revenue Flash) prepared by the financial planning team, providing clear commentary and insights before circulating to the business.

Supporting the Product Team with strategic commercial initiatives, discounts and new product proposals will be part of your role, as well as tracking commercial benefits relating to initiatives and capital expenditure. You will lead the compilation and system loading of divisional forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans and related presentations.

Monitoring monthly operating expenditure and indirect overhead allocations, tracking spend versus budget using waterfall and run rate charts, and influencing business decisions to help meet spending targets will be key responsibilities. You will also understand indirect overhead allocations from group, their drivers and how they can be influenced or reduced.

Key relationships include the FX business leadership team, Group financial controllership team and Central FP&A team.
