About the Role
This is a new and critical role within the Group Sustainability Team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). You will lead the delivery of LSEG’s sustainability governance objectives, focusing on sustainability regulation, due diligence, third-party risk management, and related compliance activities. The role requires autonomy and strong stakeholder management, working closely with Legal & Compliance, Procurement, Sales, Investor Relations, and Operations to ensure sustainability obligations are embedded and effectively managed across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include leading the Sustainability Regulation workflow, horizon scanning with external advisers, maintaining the legal register, and monitoring compliance. You will lead the multi-year Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) regulatory transformation programme, ensuring LSEG’s compliance and ongoing due diligence execution. Additionally, you will lead sustainability due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, coordinate integration of acquired firms, and escalate issues as needed.

As the sustainability lead for third-party risk management (TPRM), you will ensure the process is effective and manage sustainability risks related to customers, suppliers, and partners. You will respond to customer due diligence enquiries, identify sustainability requirements in contracts, and work with Procurement on supplier due diligence and engagement. Supporting investor engagement and shareholder inquiries will also be part of your role.

LSEG is a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider with a 300-year history, operating in 70 countries with 25,000 employees. The organisation values innovation, quality, diversity, and sustainability, fostering an inclusive culture where employees can grow and fulfil their potential.
