We are recruiting a Senior Manager, Event Marketing to join the Major Events team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Event Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to lead ticket sales marketing campaigns for the Nations Championship. This role suits an experienced event marketer who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and has a proven track record of delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable ticket sales.

Key responsibilities include developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies to drive ticket sales across multiple event phases. You will collaborate with internal specialists, external agencies and key stakeholders to plan, deliver and optimise campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring marketing activity supports both commercial objectives and the long-term growth of the event.

Additional duties:
- Develop marketing plans and brief/manage campaign creative across digital, social, CRM, OOH, radio, partnerships and other channels
- Manage development of campaign materials for use across all marketing channels
- Track campaign performance, producing reporting and recommendations to improve commercial outcomes
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications
- Work closely with ticketing, hospitality sales colleagues and ticketing agents to maximise yield and fill the stadium while tracking sales against forecasts and targets

Success in this role requires a commercially minded, highly organised individual comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and balancing strategic planning with hands-on campaign delivery. Using data to inform marketing decisions is essential.

Requirements

Experience
- Significant experience delivering ticketed event marketing campaigns that drive commercial sales
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM and customer acquisition strategies
- Ability to measure and evaluate campaign success with experience of optimisation techniques
- Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative environment
- Experience operating at Marketing Manager level or above

- Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of rugby is advantageous but not essential
