About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. We are looking to appoint 4 new Senior Patient Resolution Officers to join our patient resolution service. The successful candidates will work within ISM, Cancer and Surgery, Evelina Womens Clinical Group, collaborating with directorate teams and services. The role involves managing complaints, facilitating investigations, reporting and sharing learning, and supporting staff to ensure timely resolutions to patient concerns.

Requirements

Experience
Previous NHS complaints management experience or experience leading on investigations. Detailed knowledge of the Local Authority Social Services and National Health Complaints (England) Regulations 2009. Experience of producing written material to a high standard and working in a pressurised environment.

About you
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people in stressful situations. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and maintain confidentiality. Exhibits resilience and patience, with the ability to support anxious individuals.

Qualifications
Graduate level of education or equivalent experience in a relevant specialist area. Professional qualifications or specialist knowledge of NHS policies and procedures to post graduate diploma level or equivalent experience. Relevant training, such as counselling skills, is desirable.
