About the Role
Join Tripadvisor as a Senior Product Designer on the Travel Mode team, a startup-style group within the company focused on creating innovative products for travelers currently in-destination. You will co-own the end-to-end design process for native iOS and Android apps, driving a hypothesis-based roadmap and shaping the vision for the initial MVP. This role requires working in a rapid experimentation culture, leveraging mobile-specific analytics and testing to inform iterative design decisions. You will simplify complex data and logistics into intuitive, one-tap mobile solutions, championing user-centered design that leverages native platform capabilities such as haptics, motion, and location services to deliver a premium and responsive app experience. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to balance strategic goals with hands-on execution, ensuring the highest quality design craftsmanship throughout the product lifecycle.

Experience
- 5+ years of experience shipping native mobile products on iOS and Android platforms.
- Proven ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience working with global-first teams and understanding platform-specific behaviors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, production-ready mobile experiences with attention to polish including transitions, feedback, and visual hierarchy.
- History of collaborating effectively with engineers to ship high-performance features while understanding technical constraints.
