About the Role
At Tripadvisor, we believe we are better together and welcome you for who you are. As the world's leading travel platform, Tripadvisor and its subsidiary Viator connect travelers with over 300,000 travel experiences worldwide. Our Marketing Analytics team owns the analytics stack for marketing — including Search, CRM, Display, and Affiliate — operating in a fast-paced ecommerce environment where booking dynamics, intent signals, and seasonality create unique data challenges.
The Sr Data Analyst, Search Marketing role is centered on strong analytical skills, fluency in SQL, and deep understanding of the search marketing landscape — including paid and organic search interactions, SERP evolution, and their impact on traffic and revenue. You will bring solid search marketing analytics expertise and work independently from day one, partnering closely with channel owners and stakeholders. You will also mentor less experienced analysts and contribute to advancing AI tools that enhance analytics.
Key responsibilities include analyzing search performance to generate actionable insights, ensuring accurate measurement of search channel performance, supporting experimentation and incrementality tests, tracking SERP changes and Google algorithm impacts, analyzing competitive and demand landscapes, monitoring daily search trading, collaborating across marketing channels and ML teams, and applying AI tools to improve analytics efficiency and insight quality. You will help build business cases that improve search traffic and commercial outcomes over time.
